autokeep.me — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the autokeep.me mobile application — a Russian-language personal car-maintenance tracker for Android and iOS (Android application id com.alekhindev.autokeep) — handles your data. This text is a translation of the Russian version; in case of discrepancies, the Russian version prevails.

autokeep.me is developed by ИП Алёхин Роман Сергеевич (sole proprietor Roman Sergeevich Alekhin), registered in the Russian Federation, ИНН (INN) 713005978740, ОГРНИП (OGRNIP) 326710000026194 (“Developer”).

In short: autokeep.me collects no personal data. Everything you enter in the app is stored only on your device. The only thing that leaves the device is anonymous technical crash reports, which contain no personal data and can be turned off in the app.

What you enter and where it is stored

All data you enter in the app — cars, maintenance and repair records, expenses, mileage, parts — is stored only locally on your device in the app’s local database (MMKV). This data never leaves the device: it is not synced to any cloud, not copied to any server, and not accessible to the Developer.

No accounts. The app has no registration, sign-in, or authentication.
No cloud sync. App content (cars, history, expenses, parts) is not sent over the network to the Developer or anyone else.
No advertising or tracking. The app embeds no advertising SDKs; advertising identifiers (IDFA / AAID) are not used, user behaviour is not tracked, and no data is shared with or sold to third parties.

Crash reports (diagnostics)

To find and fix bugs, autokeep.me sends anonymous technical crash reports to the Developer’s own diagnostics server, located in the Russian Federation. This is the only data that leaves the device.

A report contains technical information only: the error type and stack trace, the app version, the operating-system version, and the device model. It contains no personal data:

potentially sensitive values (including a car’s licence plate and VIN, email addresses, and phone numbers) are automatically stripped from the report text should they ever end up there;
the report carries no user or device identifier by which you could be recognised or by which separate reports could be linked to one another;
the IP address is not retained.

The diagnostics server is operated by the Developer (the open-source GlitchTip service); reports are not shared with any third-party analytics company. Reports are kept for no more than 30 days and are then deleted automatically. Crash reporting can be turned off in the app, on the “About” screen.

Your control over the data

The data is fully under your control:

Any record can be edited or deleted directly in the app.
Uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from the device.
Crash reporting can be turned off on the “About” screen.

Legal notes (Federal Law No. 152-FZ)

App content (cars, maintenance history, expenses, parts) is processed exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to the Developer. Crash reports are anonymised and contain no personal data. Accordingly, the Developer does not process personal data of autokeep.me users within the meaning of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” with respect to the app’s contents or such reports.

Apple App Store / Google Play disclosures

The autokeep.me app discloses its data practices in the App Store “App Privacy” labels and the Google Play “Data Safety” section: only diagnostic crash data (Crash logs) is collected, not linked to the user’s identity and not shared with third parties. Those disclosures reflect this Policy. Material changes are reflected in both places.

Changes to this Policy

If a future version of the app adds cloud sync, accounts, or any other feature affecting user data, this Policy will be updated before such features ship, and the “Last updated” date at the top will change. The current version is always available at alekhin-dev.com/legal/autokeep-privacy-en.
